P1/P2 Skin Care Unit (Planet Dermis)

Introduction

Mission to Planet Dermis provides support for several aspects of the P1/P2 science and health syllabi. The intention is to provide online stimulus and learning for use in:

  • Classroom lessons - especially where interactive whiteboards are available
  • Project work – in the class or at home
  • Home based investigations – especially where pupils can involve family or friends in simple science investigations

A number of worksheets are available for teachers to print out and use during a classroom session, especially in the ‘break’ between learning about the skin and discovering how to keep it healthy.

It’s a very flexible approach yet offers teachers a clearly defined and easy to use lesson for busy teachers.
